First published as Ethics Related to Research in Nursing in 1977, then revised and updated in 1993 and 1998, Nurse Researcher now publishes the latest Nurses and Research Ethics from the RCN

The RCN has published its influential guidance on research ethics for nurses since 1977, and these have been regularly revised, most recently in 1998. The pace of change is rapid however, and the RCN was mindful of a number of reasons to revisit the guidance.
