Eligibility criteria for interview participants

Inclusion criteria	Exclusion criteria
Female patients aged 50–70 Previously or currently diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer (ER positive, HER2 negative, preoperative 3 cm and node negative) With experience of receiving EBRT or TARGIT-IORT in England Care partners (male or female) of female patients Able to speak English	Male patients with breast cancer Individuals who are members of potentially vulnerable groups (eg, prisoners) and/or lack the mental capacity to be able to give informed consent (as defined by the Mental Capacity Act 2005)
