  • S1 and S2 represent the two SELCoH sample surveys at timepoints 1 and 2, respectively. Total number in sample, N=893. n=number of participants with the condition. Frequencies reported for ≥5 conditions. Musculoskeletal conditions include musculoskeletal pain; other cardiovascular conditions include stroke and blood-related conditions; sensory conditions include eye/vision and ear/hearing conditions; serious mental illnesses include chronic fatigue, obsessive compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, myalgic encephalomyelitis, eating disorders, bipolar, psychosis and schizophrenia; Non-specific other physical LTCs account for all other conditions with a frequency of <5 cases. Conditions may co-occur with other conditions. Frequencies are unweighted and weighted percentages account for survey design.

  • LTCs, long-term health conditions; SELCoH, South East London Community Health household survey.
