DystoniaPersistent or intermittent muscle contractions that lead to abnormal movements and/or postures.
MyoclonusSudden, brief, shock-like movements.
TremorRhythmic, oscillatory movement of a body part.
ChoreaContinuous, abrupt, unpredictable non-rhythmic jerky movements.
TicsStereotyped, repeating, shock-like movements, which can be temporarily repressed. Patients feel an urge preceding the movements.
