Framework technique used for data analysis

1. FamiliarisationManuscripts are read and re-read independently by investigators.
2. Identifying thematic frameworkThemes are identified and then reviewed jointly and a refined/condensed set of themes agreed on.
3. Coding/indexingCodes are applied to the data systematically by both investigators independently. Coding is then reviewed and discussed until final consensus on coding is reached.
4. ChartingData is rearranged in line with thematic content in a manner that supports cross-case and within-case analysis.
5. Mapping and interpretationData is interpreted and conclusions and recommendations drawn.
