This article has been corrected since it was published online. The abstract and results text section has been updated to correct several discrepancies between the results tables and text.

  1. In the abstract and results section, the text should read: the prevalence of hypertension was 31.3% in the control group and 42.5% in the treatment group (PR=1.36)

  2. The word control was repeated in description of table 2 in the results section. The repetition has been replaced with the word “treatment”
