This article has been corrected since it was published.

The authors have corrected the coding error (in the variable measuring insight, the main exposure) and have re-run the analyses. Therefore, ‘Results’, ‘Conclusions’ in ‘Abstract’ section; ‘Patients’, ‘Unadjusted and adjusted main outcomes’ in ‘Results’ section; ‘Discussion’ and ‘Conclusion’ have been updated. All the tables have been revised and updated.

However, the main findings of the paper remain unaltered.
