This approach has led to a significant reduction of the conversion rate to standard sternotomy (from 27.7% to 15.4%, as in other studies5,8,10), but it still remains significantly higher compared with MS (15.4 vs 9%, P = .764). There were no significant differences in CPB time, crossclamp time, and total hospital length of stay (Table 2).
