  • The results are from the generalised linear mixed effects regression models in which the dependent variables are binary outcomes (participant did or did not have a bout of moderate-to-vigorous or vigorous physical activity lasting ≥10 min) and each participant is incorporated as a random effect. In the simple models, the fixed effects are age, gender, body mass index and type of day. In the interaction models, the fixed effects are age, gender, body mass index, type of day and all of their possible two-way interactions.
