Initial factors included in model 3 were body mass index, systolic blood pressure, total cholesterol, triglycerides, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein cholesterol, glucose, eGFR and smoking. Using stepwise multiple regression analysis, we selected high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, glucose and smoking as independent factors for endothelial dysfunction (other variables).
