Basic elements of the data included in the Spanish Registry (GECMP-CCR-SEPAR) are compared with those in the most comprehensive systematic review4 of 51 retrospective studies and the combined Duke and MSK-CC follow up study13

Given the very large time scale of about 50 years of practice represented altogether, the case selection is remarkably similar.
