  • *For cholesterol evaluation, patients with high cholesterol, diabetes, heart problems, smoking habits, hypertension, obesity (BMI ≥30), or a family history of heart problems were excluded. For evaluation of blood pressure, patients with diabetes, heart problems, obesity (BMI ≥30), smoking habits, hypertension, or a family history of heart problems were excluded. For evaluation of glucose, overweight (BMI ≥25) or obese patients and patients with diabetes, hypertension, a family history of diabetes, or high cholesterol were excluded. For Pap smear, patients with a personal or family history of cancer of the cervix, or simply “uterus”, were excluded. For gynecological ultrasound, patients with a personal or family history of ovarian, breast, uterine, or vulvae cancers were excluded. For breast ultrasound and mammography, patients with a personal or family history of breast or ovarian cancer were excluded. For lung X-ray, patients with a personal or family history of lung cancer were excluded. For evaluation of PSA and prostate ultrasound, patients with a personal or family history of prostate cancer were excluded. For the fecal occult blood test (FOBT), patients with a personal or family history of colon or rectal cancer were excluded. For abdominal ultrasound, patients with a personal or family history of liver or pancreatic cancer were excluded. For thyroid ultrasound, patients with a personal or family history of thyroid cancer were excluded.
