This article starts by claiiming that a new concept of health was introduced in 2011 'as the ability to adapt and to self manage, in the face of social, physical and emotional challenges’. Much before this, the book on Medical Biostatistics (First edition) by Indrayan and Sarmukaddam, published by Marcel Dekker (now Taylor & Francis) in 2001, on page 164, defines positive health states as 'the ability to cope with biological, psychological, and social stess'. The book has gone into four editions. The second edition was published in 2008, where also the same definition was repeated. Thus, it is not correct to claim that the authors introduced a new concept of health in 2011. I suggest to the authors to acknowledge this lapse and issue a rectifying statement.
